I am 29 now. When I was younger I had an accident with an at home product that burned my skin and made it continuously react badly. I have acne like skin problems. It stays sore, burning feeling, and I have never had the money to pay for laser surgery to fix it. It covers my entire arm..both of them and my chest. I was told that a very simple laser/acne treatment would probably clear it up and that a laser hair removal treatment would take care of the damaging effects of the chemical burn also. I have looked into places that accreditted to find the one that is the cheapest without compromising the quality of services and professionalism. Perfumes Plus in St. John, N.B. is close to where i live at the moment, but the acne treatment alone for one treatment is $80 dollars orset of six for $450. The laser treatment alone is minimum of $2990. I am wondering if medicare covers this type of skin problem due to chemical burn. Something must be done because this problem is painful.

Laser Teeth Whitening – Cost for Laser Teeth Whitening
In today’s day and age, everybody wants to look good, and they want instant results. If they are looking to shed a few pounds, they want it now. If they want a tan, they want it now. People looking to get their teeth whitened are no exception. They want instant results. Laser teeth whitening are a way to get bright white teeth instantly, without a lot of pain and hassle.
What is Laser Teeth Whitening?
Laser teeth whitening systems are a way for people to instantly get the smile they want without having to wait days or weeks using the “at home kits”. The “laser” in teeth whitening puts off some people, so they opt for the home kits. However, laser teeth whitening are completely safe and harmless.
For starters the dentist or dental assistant will clean your teeth, removing all debris and plaque that could hamper the laser whitening process. Depending on the brand, the specialist will then apply a paste or a gel to your teeth. The laser is then beamed over your teeth, activating important bleaching chemicals in the gel. The only purpose of the laser is to accelerate the bleaching process by activating these chemicals, which is usually a concentrated form of hydrogen or carbamide peroxide.
The entire process takes about an hour, and your teeth should look about 10 shades whiter once completes. Some patients who have severe staining due to medications or smoking opt to proceed with more treatments. This is completely normal, and should not deter you from getting the laser treatment done.
How Much Will This Cost Me?
As with any new technology, you’re going to pay a premium. Don’t be surprised when you get a bill ranging from $500-$1000, and even more if multiple treatments are required. You also have the option of buying the cheap home teeth whitening kits from a grocery store for a few bucks. More sophisticated molds and gels are available for about $100. However, the bleach used in these OTC (over-the-counter) products is less effective and you’re not going to see the results you would from a proper laser treatment. Fortunately many dentists offer payment plans or financing. Some even have a first customer discount that can save you a lot of money.
Bottom line, if you have the money you really should opt for the laser treatment. The results are instant and they work. You save yourself the headache and time required for cheaper home kits, and in the end you’ll be glad you did it.

The Cost Of Lasik Surgery Is Worth It For Many
These days, there is a great deal of interest in the different types of vision eye surgery that is offered. Lasik is one of the most popular of the various kinds of corrective eye surgery options because it can be done in under an hour, recovery time is very quick, and the risks are quite low.
In addition, for many with vision problems, the cost of Lasik eye surgery is quite low when they take in to account the many benefits they receive, especially not having to deal with breaking (or constantly losing) their glasses or the need to deal with the hassle of contact lenses.
In general, the cost will vary quite a bit depending on the exact type of corrective eye surgery that you need. The price of a Lasik procedure can also be affected by the type of facility you choose, whether the Lasik eye surgery center is affiliated with a hospital or not, the country where you reside and the region of the country where you live.
There are some enticing ads that claim their clinic’s cost of Lasik eye surgery can start as low as $500 for each eye that is being corrected. However, with some due diligence and careful consultation and comparisons, people are more likely to discover the real starting cost to be about $1,000 per eye and this can go as high as $2,500 depending on the facility and the laser eye surgeon.
Unfortunately, aside from the many benefits of corrective eye surgery, the high cost simply puts it out of range for many people. This is especially true for those who have no type of insurance coverage to help pay for some of the expense. Even for those who do have optical insurance, many will find their coverage limited. Many insurance policies exclude this type of laser eye surgery altogether because they consider it to be optional and not necessary, since in most cases the vision can be improved with some type of corrective lenses.
However, there are many people who have sufficient resources and motivation that are not at all put off by the cost of eye surgery. Some people value the convenience of never having to wear glasses again.
Others look forward to never having to deal with the fuss of changing and cleaning contact lenses. Still other’s are motivated by vanity and don’t want anyone to know that they had a vision problem that needed correction.
Regardless of the reasons why people seek out corrective eye surgery, there are many laser eye surgeons being kept happily in business by the demand of this procedure, regardless of the cost. Part of the reason why it has become such a popular practice is because a large segment of the population is comprised of the baby-boomer generation, ranging in age from 45 to 65, who are experiencing vision deterioration.
When it comes down to it, no matter how much the cost of Lasik eye surgery, there are simply some vision conditions for which this type of procedure is not effective. In those cases, other types of corrective eye surgery might be suggested by your eye doctor, or corrective lenses might be your only option. Lasik vision surgery is most effective for correcting astigmatisms, nearsightedness and farsightedness.
