I've been fostering for about 6 years and we've only had a few dogs get infections, I think it just depends on what your dog does after the surgery. I would just go with the normal neutering as long as it's on pain meds. We were very happy with it BUT the Vet only charged $ 30.00 more for each lazer surgery and the base price was $ 80.00 for neutering our dog the traditional way. I would NEVER pay $ 300.00 to have a dog neutered. If I were you, I would go with the traditional method. That's how dogs have been neutered for decades with no problem at all.
