Question by : Question about neutering cost?
Ok i have been calling around and most places run about 100 to 120 for the surgery pain pills blood work etc. but i called one vet who said 300 and she said it was a laser surgery and that also included the blood work and pain meds and the other things so my question is, is it better to do the “laser surgery” or is it just a wast of money? and why is it so much more expensive if theres nothing better about it? Thank you guys! Also if it matters its a pug so yes 300 for a small dog.

Laser surgery tends to have a shorter recovery time. No stitches that your dog can pull out, no having to worry about licking at the incision, etc.

Is it not a bad price, I would do it. But it’s what YOU feel comfortable with. If you want to do it the traditional way, go ahead. I haven’t heard of any ill effects from laser Neutering.

I would do some Googling on the subject to find the pros and cons.

Question About Dentists That Use Lasers?

Question by summer loves zach(:: Question About Dentists That Use Lasers?
I am needing a new dentists and I have a decently bad cavity. I didn’t even notice it until my mom did when I had my head back doing something because it is on the back side of one of my front teeth. Do dentists that use lasers “zap” the cavity away without pain, drugs, “laughing gas”, anything? That’s what I heard, but I don’t know how true it is. And how much more does it cost than getting a cavity fixed the normal filling way with drills, etc.

Best answer:

Answer by Dr. Albert, DDS, (USA)
SOME DENTISTS DO HAVE LASERS FOR THIS, BUT NOT ALL, MORE DO OFFER AIR ABRASION, LIKE SANDBLASTING WHICH IS A PAINLESS METHOD TO REMOVE DECAY.
THOSE WITH LASERS CHARGE AN EXPENSIVE FEE, WHILE AIR ABRASION IA MUCH MORE REASONABLE.

Please help this really is ruining my life as stupid as it sounds.

Thanks.
